Album: 5ive Album by Davido

Davido’s highly anticipated new album, 5ive, arrives in 2025 as a bold expansion of his artistic vision. The project features 17 tracks that blend Afrobeats energy with polished production and unexpected collaborations, showcasing Davido’s ability to evolve while staying true to his roots.

From the opening track "Five By Alhanislam" to the standout "Offa Me" featuring Victoria Monét, the album balances introspection and high-octane grooves, proving Davido’s knack for blending personal narratives with infectious hooks.

Standout moments include the moody "Be There Still," the anthemic "Titanium" with Chris Brown, and the collaborative heavyweights like "Lover Boy" with Tayc and Dadju. Each track reflects Davido’s signature versatility, whether it’s the Afro-soul vibes of "Holy Water" with Victony and Musa Keys or the playful charm of "Nuttin Dey."

The inclusion of global stars like Shenseea, YG Marley, and Becky G further cements the album’s international appeal, making it a must-listen for fans and newcomers alike.

With a mix of introspective lyrics and explosive choruses, 5ive feels like a natural progression from Davido’s past work, offering both familiarity and fresh surprises. Tracks like "CFMF" and "R&B" with Shenseea and 450 showcase his knack for crafting radio-friendly bangers, while deeper cuts like "Tek" and "Funds" (featuring ODUMODUBLVCK and Chike) add layers of complexity.

The album’s eclectic lineup ensures there’s something for every mood, from the uplifting "With You" with Omah Lay to the reflective "Lately."

As Davido continues to push boundaries in Afrobeats, 5ive stands as a testament to his growth as an artist. Whether you’re drawn to the collaboration-heavy tracks or the standalone gems, the album delivers a cohesive experience that fans have been waiting for. With its blend of innovation and nostalgia, 5ive isn’t just an addition to Davido’s discography—it’s a statement.
