Album: Strange Muse Album by NMIXX

NMIXX’s latest project, Strange Muse, offers a bold blend of raw energy and melodic depth, showcasing the artist’s ability to craft tracks that feel both intimate and expansive. The six-track collection kicks off with “긴 소원 (Birthday Wish),” a reflective piece that balances quiet introspection with a subtle pulse, while “Kerosene” delivers a grittier, more immediate vibe, hinting at the album’s dynamic range. Each track carries its own distinct character, from the conversational tone of “RudE TaLK” to the soaring harmonies of “너는 달 (Sing to the Moon),” which features vocals from LILY and HAEWON, adding layers of emotional resonance.

The album’s creative energy continues with “Hot ‘n Unbothered,” a track produced with SULLYOON and BAE that channels a more upbeat, sun-drenched attitude, contrasting sharply with the high-energy swagger of “휙 (WHIP).” Co-written with JIWOO and KYUJIN, this final cut brings a confident, rhythmic drive, rounding out the project with a sense of momentum. Together, these songs paint a portrait of NMIXX’s versatility, seamlessly weaving together introspective moments with infectious grooves, all under the cohesive umbrella of Strange Muse.

What makes Strange Muse stand out is its ability to feel both personal and universal, each track serving as a snapshot of NMIXX’s evolving sound. Whether it’s the tender lyrics of “Birthday Wish” or the bold production choices in “WHIP,” the album invites listeners to explore its shifting moods without ever losing its core identity. A standout release for fans of music that balances depth with accessibility, Strange Muse is a testament to NMIXX’s growth as an artist.
