Album: Unruly Album by Olamide

Olamide’s latest project, Unruly, arrives as a bold statement in the Nigerian music scene, blending raw energy with polished production across 15 tracks. Released in 2023, the album showcases the artist’s signature versatility, weaving together anthemic hooks, introspective verses, and standout collaborations.

From the infectious rhythm of “Celebrate” to the hypnotic flow of “Jinja,” each track captures Olamide’s knack for balancing swagger and introspection. Standout features include high-energy cuts like “Hardcore” and the fiery “Problem,” as well as guest appearances that elevate the project, including CKay on “Trumpet” and Bnxn on “Come Alive.”

The album’s diversity shines through its mix of genres, from Afrobeats-infused bangers to soulful reflections like “Life Goes On.” Tracks such as “New Religion” with Asake and “Shibebe” featuring Fireboy DML showcase Olamide’s ability to curate moments that resonate with both street credibility and mainstream appeal.

Even the more introspective cuts, like “Doom” and “Supplier,” reveal a depth that keeps listeners engaged beyond the surface. The inclusion of Rema on “Mukulu” further underscores the album’s collaborative strength, proving Olamide’s influence extends across the industry.

Unruly isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a testament to Olamide’s growth as an artist who balances personal expression with commercial edge. Whether it’s the upbeat drive of “Street Jam” or the emotional weight of “No Worries,” the album delivers a full spectrum of sounds that reflect both the artist’s journey and the ever-evolving landscape of Nigerian music.

Fans and newcomers alike will find tracks to savor, making it a standout addition to his discography.

With a tracklist that balances boldness and introspection, Unruly solidifies Olamide’s status as a force in contemporary music.
