Album: And The Crowd Goes Mild Album by Sasha Alex Sloan

Sasha Alex Sloan delivers a raw, introspective collection with And The Crowd Goes Mild, an album that blends vulnerability with sharp, unfiltered honesty. The project spans ten tracks, each offering a glimpse into moments of quiet reflection and unguarded emotion. From the introspective "Still Be Me" to the biting critique of "What It Isn’t," the album captures the tension between self-doubt and defiance, all wrapped in Sloan’s distinctive, unpolished voice. Tracks like "Empty" and "Delusional Optimism" dig into the weight of isolation, while others, such as "Fun," cut through the noise with a dry, observational wit.

The album’s title track, "And The Crowd Goes Mild," sets the tone for a project that feels both intimate and unapologetic. Sloan’s songwriting here avoids grand gestures, instead focusing on the small, aching details of life’s contradictions. The result is a sound that lingers, not for its polish, but for its authenticity.
