Album: Taylor Gang Album by Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang arrived in 2014 as a high-energy mixtape that showcased his signature laid-back flow alongside some of hip-hop’s most explosive collaborators. The project, featuring ten tracks, doubles down on the Atlanta rap scene’s signature sound, blending effortless hooks with hard-hitting verses. Every song on Taylor Gang stars Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign, with additional guest spots from stars like Rich Homie Quan, YG, and French Montana, creating a roster that feels like a who’s-who of the era’s biggest names.

The mixtape’s title track, “Taylor Gang,” opens with a smooth yet commanding presence, setting the tone for the rest of the project. Tracks like “Dead Presidents” and “Like I Do” highlight Wiz Khalifa’s knack for crafting anthems that balance swagger and melody, while cuts like “Ratchet In My Benz” and “Lord Knows” lean into the mixtape’s more braggadocious energy. Each production feels polished, with Wiz Khalifa’s signature offbeat rhythm keeping the vibe fresh and engaging.

Taylor Gang stands as a defining snapshot of mid-2010s trap culture, where Atlanta’s influence stretched across the country. With its mix of feature-heavy bangers and standout solo moments, the project remains a fan favorite for its unapologetic confidence and timeless appeal. Whether you’re revisiting it for nostalgia or discovering it for the first time, Taylor Gang delivers the kind of unfiltered rap energy that defined its time.
